Welcome to the Art Room!
My name is Ms. Jones, and I teach Elementary Art, grades K - 5 in Pasco county Florida. Teaching elementary school is nothing new to me. I have been a teacher since the late 1970s, in pre-school, grades K - 5, both in the private and in the public school setting.
I have also been a student of art for the past 30 years. I have taken classes in a myriad of areas, including but not limited to: drawing, various mediums of painting, pastel, pottery, stained glass, batik, jewelry making, and photography.
It is my goal to expose students to a wide variety of art techniques, as well as to integrate art into the academic realm. I hope to make students more aware of the world around them, and have fun in the process!
